Hunting at The Preserve at Dundee is a Virginia tradition that started over 200 years ago. Just north of Richmond, our vast hunting preserve has been cultivated and strategically prepared for upland hunting. Arrive at 9 AM for a short safety briefing and check-in, then head out for the morning hunt. In the field, you'll expect to see a mixed bag of quail, pheasant, and chukar. Your guide will lead you through the various hunting environments of The Preserve, including pine forests, sloping hills, and flat farmland. Watch the dogs find and point both wild and released birds throughout your 3 hours in the field. Relax back at the house between hunts, enjoy a locally catered lunch, and prepare for the afternoon. The second hunt will continue until 4:00 pm, when you'll return back to the house for hors d'ouevres and drinks. Share stories and lies around the firepit, as we prepare your birds for taking home!
